Short Story Collections

When you're an author, sometimes the stories are too short to become a book, so you put them in a hard drive folder and move on.

Sometimes you go back to them for inspiration for a book  - That happened to "Chamberlain's Secret"; it became "Curse of The Jade Cat" - and sometimes you find that you've collected enough of them to turn into a book, which is when you publish a "Collection".

My first one was "Necklace of Harmony"; the second was "Darkness in Mind." Normally, this doesn't happen to me much, mostly because I struggle with short-form writing.

*It's not my fault that Characters keep running away with the plot...Glares at a certain Blue and Purple Fairy Dragon, who looks Innocent.*

So my "short-form" can often run from 100 words to 10,000! And because I have multiple genres, I end up with a lot of different stories; it just takes me longer than some other authors.

I recently realised that I had enough short-form words for a couple of collections. The first is "Tales from The Hall of The Worlds", a collection of stories from "The Secret of Arking Down" series. The next one will be unrelated to any of my usual book universes... I think... and there may be a Science Fiction / Science Fantasy one as well.

*But as all my stories exist on The Hall of The Worlds somewhere... "Shhh, that's a secret!" ... Sorry, Puff. *

Well, anyway, you'll find all the Short-Form stories here. Perfect to dip in and out of, when all you want to read something quick, or you are on holiday.

Enjoy!!

This collection of stories comes from lives lived between the conflicts: a...
