Anyone who has followed me over from my Wordpress Site will know that I've been Teigr Princess on the World Wide Web since I started out in 1996... thirty years ago!

Time flies when you're having fun!

I've watched the web change a lot over time, joined several writing websites, some that came and went ( Webook & Authonomy) and I remember when self publishing first came out, I didn't grab at it like some people; I was suspicious of it. I eventually started publishing my own books in 2008, but that was after the shine had worn off the surface and the bugs had been worked out.

Ever since then, I have played with every new thing tech thing that pops up:

I have a Youtube channel for Teigr Books & Designs (TBD) - Teigr Books & Designs - YouTube)

I have a Tik Tok for myself personally as a person - @Teigr Princess - and for TBD - @teigr.books.desig 

I have a Podcast on Spotify (it has it's own email address) - The World of The Teigr Princess - Currently mothballed until I get my recording setup... uh... set up. Also I'll have to set up a new show for it... 😒

I used to have an Etsy Store (I can't afford their fees anymore) and now I have a Ko-Fi Page & Shop - Buy Mandy E. Ward a Coffee 

I have a Substack - Teigr Princess | Substack - I don't post regularly; I'm more a reader than a writer over there.

I'm in the process of setting up a Twitch Channel - TBDTeigrPrincess - Twitch - which is where today's featured graphic comes from. And yes it requires more tech that I don't have and didn't realise I needed!😒

I have a profile on Wattpad - Mandy E. Ward (@MandyWard) - Wattpad - it was supposed to be a way of getting reviews on my WIPs to begin with... 😢

I've had profiles on Zoetrope and other writing sites. I'm on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, Lemon8, LinkedIn... more places than I can remember the passwords for!

And now I'm on here.

It feels a lot like I'm everywhere and nowhere. I mean Erehwon and Erehwyerve are pretty good places to be if you're Dr. Who, but as an Indie Author-Publisher/Designer, it really dilutes your message!

And this is what I want to point out to any new writers who are thinking about making the jump into publishing themselves - while you need your books to be spread wide, your personal focus on social media and marketing needs to be centred.

So what am I doing about it? 

Well for a start, the two blogsites are dead. I cannot access them to delete them or cancel them. Wordpress in fact won't let me in until I pay them for a domain name! That doesn't mean that the articles and stories I've written on there are fair game though - even though I know they've probably been scraped for AI. I have, however copied and pasted them into word, so I have them. I also have all the artwork I posted there in my sketchbooks.

This site is the start of Blog number 3. 

I was trying to blog on the Ko-fi page, but no one goes there or comments on anything, so I figured if I was going to be ignored, then this was the place for it! 🤣

At least it provides a central place for people to find information out about me, TBD and my work.

I also have all the sites that I am going to concentrate on on a Linktree page - https://linktr.ee/teigrbooks8designs - and that is the one that I will send people to when they want to know where else I am. 

It neatly guides people to this site, the Ko-fi shop, my favourite socials and the author pages for my books. I can add things to it easily and there are things that I can set up there that will complement the other pages.

Anything else is more niche and to be honest, more personal; like the Youtube page, the twitch profile and Substack profile. 

I am undecided on if Wattpad will return. It feels like a lot of effort for very little return.

But in the meantime, if you're on a site, check the members - If the Teigr Princess has played there, the profile will probably still be there; drop me a line if you want; I just can't be certain if I'll respond!

Not much to mention really. 

I'll be at Barry Card and Collector Con (B3C) on the 16th & 17th of May! (Ticket link below)
It's going to be an awesome weekend full of Dr. Who, Red Dwarf, 501st Wales, and more! I haven't got my pitch placement yet, but when I do, you can bet that I'll be posting about it all over the place (I've mentioned most of them above!)
I'll have books and stickers and maybe some art pieces for sale (not sure about that yet), plus I'll sign and dedicate any of my books that is bought for free! If you've bought books of mine elsewhere, then I'll sign those too - no problem. 

To be honest, I just want to talk to people that are interested in my work - I'll have my Vanity Shelf with me and my Emotional Support Dragon Flight et al., along with the OOAK books that I've created (if anyone wants to look at them.)

There's more there to see than me though, so make sure you come along and support all the small traders, artists and authors that are going to be there.

Barry Card and Collector Con 2026 - Memo Arts Centre, Barry

Teacups & Time Travel  (TC&TT) is still right on track to be out on time. It is currently in Pre-Order still (link below) and I'm beginning to get nervous about the launch. I've only had one pre-order so far, but even that is to be celebrated! Thank you, whoever you are.

The cover of Blood & Kitsune is almost to the point that I can put it up. I'm still trying to decide if it needs the Kitsune or not... The story has stalled in writing flow slightly because of issues at home, but as the publication date is autumn next year, I don't have to worry too much.

The Lych Mistress is waiting impatiently in the wings. She's still in editing and that makes her annoyed, because she insists that her story is absolutely perfect. We're looking at a 2026 Hallowe'en release for her. The Pre-Order will be up as soon as I can manage - possibly tomorrow (23/03/2026)

The Curious World is due out on New Years Eve 2026. Possibly not a good date for a book release - I may be changing that one; depending on how TC&TT's release goes. I don't have a cover yet for it either.  However, there is a Pre-Order out for it. Just Click through the link below.

I'd love to get The Dribble-O-Saur out in the next two years. It pretty much depends on when I can get an all in one printer. I need to scan the pics into digital form and then I can work on it. 

Of course I need to get a tablet for my digital drawing and art to really get moving on, as my laptop cannot keep up with it, and I'm wearing out phone screen protectors rapidly!
